The Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corp. Inc., is committed to providing the best level of pre-hospital care to the city of Hoboken. Our membership understands how important it is to continue their education as Emergency Medical Service providers.

 

To that end, we are constantly adding links located at the bottom of the page.  Please check them out to see help sites, find training centers and any new links added that might peak your interest.

 

We are proud of our classroom on the 3^rd floor of our facility, which is used for monthly meetings and education.

 

Our educational courses vary from certifying the general public in performing Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to continuing education for our Emergency Medical Technicians. Our training is brought to you by state certified instructors as well as our own membership.

 

            2^nd Lieutenant of Training, Zenaida Tavarez, serves as the Director of Training. She is very lucky to be surrounded  by a wide variety of assistants; line officers, the president of the organization and active life members.

     1. (CPR) CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION*

                for the Health Care Provider-American Heart Association

            Dates in 2011:  1/9, 2/6, 3/13, 4/3, 5/8, 6/5, 7/10, 8/7, 9/11, 10/9, 11/6

               Time: 9-2pm initial, 3-5pm recertification
               
               Cost: $100 (initial), $35 (recert)
